Don't know where you live, but if they use oxygenated fuel in the winter for emissions reduction, that also reduces the mileage due to reduced heat engery content in a gallon of the stuff. Got to burn more to get the same work done. You may be riding more agressively as you get more experience. And I find if I forget to take the choke off the last notch (click) for a 20 miles trip to town and back it takes about 10 miles off the switch to reserve miles. I get about 100 miles before the switch, and usually add 2.1 gallons. I running a oversize rear tire about 5 mph slow at 55 so am geting about 50 mpg. White spacer in, RAASK drag pipe header, HD glaspac 84 bd muffler with center baffler, faring, hard bags, and big rider. Still puts a big grin on my face every time I ride. Max
